Bookmart, Christmas Cakes and Puddings, and Art Show
Every Lions Club has its own suite of activities appropriate to its resources and the needs of its local community.
Bookmart
Money raised from the sale of donated books, music (vinyl, CDs), DVDs, games, jigsaws, and puzzles annually exceeds $200,000 and these funds are donated to local, national, and inter-national causes.

Christmas Cakes & Puddings
Our cakes and puddings are available for purchase all year round at the Bookmart.
As well as our 1kg and 1.5kg products, we now offer 400g Christmas puddings and mini 80g cakes.

Art Show
The Club runs an annual Art Show in partner¬ship with the City of Burnside Council.
This event won the City of Burnside Community Event of the Year award at the Australia Day Awards in January 2000, and again in 2022.
Proceeds from our Art Show are donated to local community organisations and charities.

The next show’s profits will be donated to Raising Literacy Australia.
Volunteers are welcome and encouraged to assist at the Art Show.

Art Show Screens for Hire
We hire out our art screens across the Adelaide metropolitan area.
Dimensions: 2m (height) X 2.4m (width)
Hanging hooks: $20 per box (approx. 100)
Hire price: $20 per screen, per fortnight
