Welcome to the Lions Club of Glenside
Glenside Lions Club is part of Lions Australia and Lions Clubs International, the largest service club organisation in the World.
The Club was formed in 1980. As well as serving the community in various ways it has donated almost $3 million to local, national and overseas charitable causes.
Membership is open to males and females over the age of 18 years.
Each month we hold a business meeting at Burnside Community Centre and a dinner meeting at the Marryatville Hotel; but our home base is the Bookmart.
Situated on the western edge of Tusmore Park, the Bookmart is SA’s second-largest second-hand bookshop with annual sales exceeding $250,000.
At Glenside Lions our motto is WE SERVE. We welcome new members.

Serve the Community
We are a group of people dedicated to making our communities better places to live, work, and flourish.

Lend a Hand
At Lions we make things happen. One more member gives us two more hands.

New Experiences
We enjoy a wide range of experiences when working on different types of service projects, and participating in a variety of events.

Make New Friends
We make new friends, meet new people and enjoy camaraderie while we volunteer in the community.
Join Us
Applications are encouraged from all members of the community (18+ years), to join the Lions Club of the Glenside. If you are interested in volunteering, service projects and fundraising, please contact us for more information and apply for membership.
