Lions Hearing Dogs is a not-for-profit organisation that provides hearing dogs and training in their use to hearing impaired people throughout Australia. Dogs and follow-up support are provided free of charge. The majority of their funding comes from Australian Lions Clubs together with other donations and sponsorship. The Lions Hearing Dogs training centre is located right here in SA, in Verdun.
Glenside Lions Club donated $2000 to Hearing Dogs in October.
