Our Images of Splendour calendar was launched tonight by the Chairman of the Burnside Hospital Foundation, John Gerard. Present were Burnside War Memorial Hospital Chairman Frank Kite and City of Burnside Mayor David Parkin. Board members of the Foundation and the Hospital, Lions and partners and staff and doctors were also present. Funds raised from calendar sales will go towards the purchase of a new Blood Gas Analyser for the High Dependency Unit, to assist in monitoring and treating critically ill patients receiving extra care. It was a successful night.
