Hearing Screening
Glenside Lions conducted hearing screening at the Bookmart on 24, 25 and 27 June in conjunction with Hearing Australia from their van parked in front of the Bookmart.
Hearing Australia has been helping South Australians recover their hearing through government funded hearing services for children, young adults up to 26, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders, pensioners and veterans. With various locations in South Australia they offer hearing screening and solutions to the community at large. They also have mobile screening vans like the one used at the Bookmart.
Glenside Lions have organised this screening as part of the service to our community.
Lions Awareness Day
Glenside Lions have a stall at Burnside Village to promote Lions Clubs Awareness. This event is on Saturday 5 March from 10am to 4pm. Our Club raises funds at our Bookmart at Tusmore Park and at our Annual Art Show at the Burnside Ballroom to support local community projects and charities. Our members are on hand to rpovide information on our Club and on Lions Clubs in general. Please visit us to take a look at our Club activities and that of Lions Clubs in general. Everyone is welcome.
Annual Art Show 2021
Glenside Lions Club Annual Art Show 2021 Gala Night is on Wednesday 27 October at 7pm. Our show is on at the City of Burnside Ballroom. Our art show will support Catherine House this year. Lions Awareness Day
Glenside Lions are holding a Lions Awareness Day event at our Lions Bookmart on Saturday 6 March from 10am to 3pm. Everyone is invited to join us to celebrate our connection with our community. Our members will be there to meet and speak to members of our community. At this event we will provide information on Glenside Lions and the service we provide to our community. We will also have information on Lions Australia and Lions International and the work we do at national and international levels. There will be free sausage sizzle and iced bottled water. We hope you can join us.

Glenside Lions 40th Anniversary
Our Club was chartered back in 1980 and this year we celebrate our 40th Anniversary in March. The venue is the Wine Centre on Hackney Road. The date is Saturday 28 March.
Lions Awareness Day
Everyone in our community are invited to our Lions Awareness Day on Saturday 2 March from 10am to 2pm. There is a free sausage sizzle in front of our Bookmart. Please come and learn more about our service to our community. Glenside Lions are very much involved in our community through support of charities and many community projects in youth, eye health, medical research, disaster relief, environment and literacy.
