Glenside Lions presented a Blood Gas Analyser to Burnside War Memorial Hospital with funds raised by our Calendar project.
The presentation of a latest technology portable Blood Gas Analyser to the Burnside War Memorial Hospital on Tuesday 28th April was a great night with a good group of Glenside Lions in attendance.
All Senior personnel from the Hospital Foundation and Board were there and they appreciated the money our Club has donated to them being over $50,000 in the last two years. A plaque acknowledging our very significant donation was unveiled to be placed at the High Dependency Unit on the second floor of the hospital. Director of Hospital Operations Suzanne Murray said this Blood Gas Analyser is state of the art and they have already started using it in their High Dependency Unit. Their doctors are very pleased with the machine and very appreciative of our donation.
