The Glenside Lions Art Show is an annual event, held in October or November at the Burnside Ballroom (The Burnside Ballroom – 401 Greenhill Road, Tusmore, South Australia) and has been running most successfully for three decades. 2024 is our 33rd anniversary! A wide selection of over 350 works of art will be on display, and once again the club looks forward to strong support from the local and wider community. As well as paintings and drawings, there will be feltwork, embroidery and jewellery on display and for sale. Overall, this event has raised approximately $440,000 for community projects in the Burnside Council area and in the wider community. The funds raised come from commissions on sold works of art as well as entrance fees, opening night tickets, raffles and generous sponsorship by local businesses and friends.
