Since the National Bushfire Appeal was established 16 weeks ago, Australian Lions Foundation has received over $600,000 worth of donations from Lions, businesses and individuals right across Australia. Over $160,000 has already been distributed to affected communities in New South Wales, $85,000 to impacted districts in Queensland and $69,000 to communities in South Australia. There is going to be much greater support provided this week to areas of South Coast NSW, Gippsland and Kangaroo Island in South Australia. And LCIF Lions Clubs International Foundation has committed US$200,000 to this Bushfire Appeal. Glenside Lions have donated $10,000.
