Glenside Lions donated $1000 in December to the Lions Prostate Cancer Research and Treatment & Support Project. Our Club donates regularly to this Lions project because we understand the importance of this research. This project supports the development of medical services for research and treatment of Prostate Cancer, funded by the generous donations of local Lions Clubs.
The main beneficiary of the project is the Mater Prostate Cancer Research laboratory (MMRI) that is working to develop immunotherapy treatment of patients with prostate cancer.
